Responsibilities

Conduct speech/language and developmental evaluations using standardized tools and observations. Collect clinical data, consult with caregivers and providers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Document findings and communicate results effectively
Serve as a clinical resource for other disciplines, prioritize services based on patient needs, and provide ongoing consultation. Supervise student clinicians as needed
Maintain clinical competence through continuing education and participate in task forces to enhance clinic operations and patient safety
Provide professional, empathetic, and confidential communication with patients, families, and stakeholders, adhering to patient-centered care principles
May perform other duties as assigned

Required

Master's in Communicative Disorders
AR License in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence, or be eligible
Two (2) years of pediatric experience in speech-language evaluations
Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and techniques for assessing developmental disabilities
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing speech-language pathology
Ability to analyze and interpret clinical data to support accurate diagnoses

Ph.D. in Communicative Disorders
