They are seeking a Panel Builder to support their design and manufacturing team, responsible for installing machine controls on custom automation equipment and performing electrical panel wiring, troubleshooting, and machine integration.

Responsibilities

Panel Construction; Build and wire panels from scratch reading electrical schematics

Field wiring to either the panel I/O or field mount I/O devices

Pneumatic plumbing, must be able to read and understand Pneumatic schematics

Mounting electrical controls components to the machine, and fabricating mounting brackets as required

Must be able to read and understand electrical schematic

Troubleshoot and debug (i.e. diagnoses trouble or defects, determines corrective action and repairs system)

Ensure that all equipment is in proper working condition after troubleshooting

Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on automation system and components

Provide status updates to management on assigned projects

Required

High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or technical school course work

2+ years of experience wiring automated equipment

Ability to use variety of hand/power tools and test equipment related to panel builder duties

Ability to read/understand electrical schematics
