Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive intake and review of sensitive information requests
Coordinate timely and precise responses to congressional, public, and stakeholder inquiries (e.g., FOIAs requests)
Apply nuanced redaction strategies in accordance with federal statutes and regulations
Prepare comprehensive response packages for appeals, fee waivers, and potential legal challenges
Develop and recommend updates to agency information management guidelines
Maintain meticulous tracking and documentation of all information request processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and compliant information handling
Conduct in-depth reviews of records to determine exempt or non-exempt status
Alert leadership to potentially sensitive or controversial information requests
Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives

Qualification

Procurement Analyst experienceFOIA documentation experienceMicrosoft Suite proficiencyOperational security (OPSEC)Analytical techniquesGovernment contract-writing softwareWritten communication skillsVerbal communication skillsOrganizational abilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, information management, contracting, or law is preferred
At least four (4) years of documented experience in Procurement Analyst or Privacy Specialist positions
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Suite of software applications
Proven ability to maintain operational security (OPSEC)
Capability to interpret and apply procurement and transparency regulations
Demonstrated knowledge of analytical techniques for resolving complex information problems
Experience reviewing contract files and government documentation
Experience developing documentation for FOIA requests
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, six (6) years of experience in federal procurement or privacy sphere will be accepted

Preferred

Experience managing procurement-sensitive or law enforcement-sensitive information is preferred
Knowledge of government contract-writing software (e.g., PRISM) is preferred
