Dallas Market Center is the largest open-daily design center in the U.S. and is seeking a dynamic Manager/Director of Interior Design. The role involves serving as a liaison to the design community, developing relationships with designers, and executing marketing programs to drive traffic to the center.

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison of the Dallas Market Center to the Design community in Dallas and beyond

Work with the broader Marketing team to develop and execute programs to grow designer traffic to Dallas Market Center and our tenants on a daily basis

Develop relationships with Interior Designers (residential, commercial/contract, hospitality) to build awareness and loyalty to Dallas Market Center

Additionally, build relationships with key Design tenants to support and integrate their outreach efforts into DMC’s broader effort

Identify strategic differentiators for DMC, trending topics in the design community, potential speakers, and key partners in the design space to be used by the Marketing team to design campaigns and communications

Work cross-functionally to support execution of programming and events

Deliver remarks at meetings, events, and conferences when needed

Conduct tours of DMC facilities and key tenant showrooms

Use DMC’s in-house CRM system to track design interactions

Manage and stay within budget

Keep track of association membership including dues and sponsorships

Leverage membership of each organization to the benefit of the overall business

The role will require a mix of in-office and out-of-office field work, including attending after-hours and weekend events
