Private Client Business Development Director

Trident Trust is a leading independent provider of corporate, trust and fund services to the financial services sector worldwide. The company is seeking a dynamic Private Client Business Development Director to build and maintain relationships with law firms, accounting firms, and financial institutions serving Latin American clients on cross-border tax and estate planning.

Responsibilities

Engage with high-net-worth individuals, families, and their advisors to understand complex estate planning needs
Building relationships with local attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors
Recommend and implement trust structures across multiple jurisdictions in collaboration with Trident’s global network
Educate clients and intermediaries on the benefits and limitations of international and domestic trust services
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and administration of trust entities
Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and Trident’s internal standards
Represent Trident Trust at industry events and contribute to thought leadership in the wealth planning space
Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, tax planning, and asset protection
Results oriented, driven to exceed agreed sales goals and objectives
Maintain and grow an executive level, referral network of strategic accounts
Drive to exceed agreed sales goals and objectives
Provide a consultative sales approach for clients
Develop and run marketing campaigns

Required

Senior Manager/Supervisor experience
Strong legal or accounting/tax background with not less than five years law or accounting firm or institutional work experience
Fluency in Spanish
Excellent inter-personal skills
Excellent written and verbal communications, including proposal documents
Familiarity with US/Latam cross-border taxation rules applicable to foreigners and inbound investors
Ability to discuss legal and regulatory topics on a professional, and ultimate client level
Ability to explain the services and differentiators offered by the Trident Trust Group
Ability to identify new sales channels and opportunities
Ability to deliver professional presentations and speak at industry conferences
Ability to collaborate closely with Trident Trust Group colleagues worldwide
Personal drive and confidence to work with limited supervision
Results oriented, driven to exceed agreed sales goals and objectives
Maintain and grow an executive level, referral network of strategic accounts
Provide a consultative sales approach for clients
Develop and run marketing campaigns
