Responsibilities
Own the AP/AR process by managing invoice entry, payment processing, and reconciliation with precision and efficiency
Ensure financial accuracy through timely review and verification of transactions, reducing errors and improving workflow
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships
Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
Support month-end close activities by preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits as needed
Serve as a trusted financial partner to the organization, providing insights and recommendations that impact business decisions
Utilize technology and tools to optimize AP/AR functions and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably related to the scope of the position and necessary for business operations
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
Ability to commute to Waukesha, WI office 5 days per week
Associate's degree in finance or equivalent experience
5+ years of proven experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
Accounting software proficiency and advanced Excel skills (charts, graphs, pivot tables)
Exceptional accuracy, organizational skills, and time management
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, solve problems proactively, and manage priorities effectively
Preferred
Strong proficiency in Epicor ERP
