Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair automatic door systems while delivering exceptional customer service
Perform scheduled maintenance on a variety of door equipment, including automatic doors, entrance doors, handles, and closers
Diagnose faulty equipment and determine the cause of malfunctions
Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize scheduling and maximize efficiency
Ensure safe use of tools and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
Complete work orders using computer-based systems
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure satisfaction
Travel throughout your assigned coverage area and drive safely between job sites
Support safety initiatives and comply with all safety policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; troubleshooting experience
Valid driver's license required
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, perform basic math, and use a tape measure
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred
2–8 years in the automatic door industry preferred
AAADM certification preferred (ANSI 156.10 and 156.19 standards)
