JANUS Research Group is seeking a Network Engineer Subject Matter Expert to support CPE C3N SEPM. The role involves monitoring and optimizing network performance, configuring and installing network devices, and providing strategic advice and technical guidance to project staff.

Responsibilities

Monitor network engineering performance to ensure system availability and reliability

Configure and install various network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS settings

Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including applying service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations

Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning to optimize network performance

Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and technical support

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide exceptional qualifications and expertise in network engineering

Initiate, supervise, and develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs

Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff
