They are seeking a Facilities Engineering Technician to ensure the efficient delivery of support services, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and support operations and maintenance of production and R&D facilities.

Responsibilities
Setup, support operations and preventative maintenance of high-quality production and R&D facilities
Maintain production manufacturing and R&D infrastructure (aerospace vacuum tanks, machining, welding, and brazing operations, X-ray inspection, etc.)
Enhancement and expansion of capability through facility changes as required
Support installation and operation of specific equipment and appliances
EHS (environment, health and safety), as required for OHSA, ISO-9001 etc., fire safety, security (access and surveillance of the facility)
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements related to facilities include: fire safety arrangements, lighting levels, signage, ventilation, temperature control
Maintenance of facility
Building and grounds maintenance including snow removal, lighting, landscaping
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, LN2 facility
Space allocation, utilization, and furniture
Qualification
Required
Experience in operations and facility maintenance
Experience in property management
Experience in environmental stewardship and sustainability

Preferred
Electrical installation and design
PLC programming, controller design and installation for vacuum control systems
Prior experience with vacuum systems (low, High and UHV) systems
Prior experience with general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance
Prior experience in a hardware engineering company
