The Principal Accountant will provide technical accounting expertise and perform financial reporting functions for consolidated OTS, ensuring accuracy and integrity across finance while collaborating closely with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepares, analyzes, and reviews financial statements using accounting principles

Keeps records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities

Prepares reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents that project the organization's financial position

Reviews financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance

Oversees accounting operations, or a complex segment of the accounting function

Coordinates accounting matters with other departments

Prepares periodic financial statements required for external reporting

Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines

Prepares internal reports as required

Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy

May provide support and assistance to external auditors
