McClure Engineering is searching for an Electrical Engineering student to be a part of their 8 month Co-Op Program. The Co-Op student will be exposed to various electrical design tasks and collaborate with experienced engineers on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical design of lighting, power distribution and communication systems including fire alarm systems
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical Drafter/Designers on the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications)
Apply engineering calculations across multiple projects
Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and circuits
Research commercially available equipment and select equipment appropriate for project/client needs
Solve complex problems during both design and construction phases of MEP projects
Provide excellent communication to all stakeholders
Perform field inspections to verify existing site conditions

Required

Pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Successful completion of Sophomore or Junior Year
G.P.A. - 3.3 cumulative or above
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation and effective user support
Capable of engaging in physical activities such as climbing, kneeling, crouching and lifting up to 50lbs
