Electrical Assembler

Jet Parts Engineering is a commercial aviation company located in the south Seattle area. They are seeking an Electrical Assembler to perform assembly and testing of electronic-mechanical parts, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

Test and repair aircraft components in accordance with company provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company provided training
Correctly, concisely, and legibly fill out all company forms and reports as required by management (both written and online)
Work with co-workers to achieve goals and objectives set by management
Work with management to develop new processes and procedures as necessary
Assist in basic shop upkeep and maintenance including routine cleaning of the technician’s work area and periodic shop maintenance assignments
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external representatives, including management, customer reps, FAA inspectors, airline inspectors and similar (training provided)
All other duties as assigned

Required

Experience using a variety of hand tools and electrical meters (requiring manual dexterity)
Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge a plus
Familiarity and understanding of ANSI/IPC-A-610B or equivalent
Basic Computer Skills including MSFT Office, Word and Excel proficiency
Ability to perform basic algebraic calculations
Able to read, analyze and interpret technical documents like; engineering drawings/schematics, specifications, and work instructions
Good verbal and listening skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
Ability to sit long periods of time while performing work
May require performing visually detailed close-up work
Pre-employment job skills testing may be required
Requires a High School Education or GED Equivalent

Preferred

Previous exposure to manufacturing in an aerospace environment is preferred
Prefer skilled trade classes, certification, or higher learning in electromechanical field
