Technical Program Manager, Robotics
Google DeepMind is advancing the state of the art in artificial intelligence and is seeking a Technical Program Manager for their Robotics team. In this role, you will lead complex programs that bridge research and real-world applications, working closely with researchers and external partners to shape the future of Embodied AI.

Work closely with world-class researchers and key external partners
Shape the future of Embodied AI and make a significant impact on robotics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Experienced at leading complex technical programs and have 6+ years of experience as a technical program manager, with a strong track record of successful program delivery
Proven ability to navigate fast-paced, ever-evolving environments, demonstrating resourcefulness and creativity in solving complex challenges and implementing scalable solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to distill sophisticated technical ideas to broad audiences including leadership
Demonstrated ability to improve processes, workflows, and governance models to enhance efficiency within research teams
Experience working with senior leadership, confidently communicating challenges and risks while proposing new solutions
Preferred
Prior experience working with hardware (e.g., robots, autonomous vehicles, etc.) in a research environment
Prior experience managing collaborations with external partners
Prior experience managing the preparation and delivery of demos in collaboration with research, marketing, and comms teams
Strong technical background with an understanding of AI and robotics
Prior experience working with globally distributed teams
