Responsibilities
Regional responsibility of strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services: professional services, facility- and real estate services including property/equipment rental/leasing, IT, Marketing, MRO etc
Responsible for the execution of the regional/global indirect sourcing strategy in line with the global strategy
Partner with internal customers to identify and understand current and future business needs
Ensure and lead the global procurement process of competitive bidding (RFI, RFP)
Lead assigned vendor negotiations and contracting
Identification and realization of cost reduction potentials for sustainable cost management
Ongoing analysis and assessment of the procurement markets and development of supplier relationships
Responsible for the creation of purchase orders (POs) in SAP in accordance with approved requests and internal procedures
Qualification
Required
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar
Minimum 5 years indirect sourcing experience within an international business environment and matrix organization
Sound knowledge of sourcing processes (RFx) and leading contract negotiations
Strong project – and change management experience
Experience working independently, taking on responsibility for procurement strategies across all levels of assigned organization
Sourcing category experience in IT, MRO, Property Maintenance, Real Estate, Marketing and Professional Services
Readiness to travel (ca. 10%)
Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication and networking skills
Must be a fact-based decision maker, pragmatic, resourceful, and proactive
