They are seeking a Field Surveyor who will lead or be part of a survey crew, working closely with project managers and engineers to coordinate surveying activities for highway and building construction.

Responsibilities
Work with Project Managers, Engineers, and other Team Members to coordinate surveying activities for the projects
Be able to prioritize layout and do it in an efficient and timely manner
Provide input on surveying to satisfy the project’s accuracy requirements
Communicate effectively explaining the layout provided
Comply with safety regulations, company standards, and government guidelines
Qualification
Required
Experience working as a surveyor, ideally on construction projects
Proficiency using surveying equipment including levels, robotic instruments, and GPS receivers
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Basic computer skills with willingness to learn and expand knowledge
Be willing to learn new surveying techniques
Must be able to climb ladders, work around traffic, and work in all types of weather conditions
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
Good driving record
Willing to travel
