Lead Counselor – Partial Hospitalization Program

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership within the Partial Hospitalization Program, supporting other counselors and program staff

Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on mental health and/or co-occurring disorders

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews

Coordinate care with referral sources, families, and external providers

Maintain a minimum of 25 billable sessions per week while supporting program needs

Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives

Mentor and support junior counselors, promoting professional growth and adherence to best practices

Perform additional duties as needed to support clinical operations

Required

Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health) from an accredited institution, including completion of a clinical internship/practicum
