Responsibilities

Build a trusted relationship with Business Team leadership, IT leadership, and all project stakeholders and team members

Encourage movement past roadblocks and inspire project team members to deliver their best work

Manage all SAP workstream deliverables

Perform expert and effective project management for SAP technology and processes

Develop and maintain project plans, identify and manage risks, manage resource allocations and report on resource allocation issues, coordinate with technical teams and project managers, and assist the iHerb PMO with keeping projects on time, in scope, and within budget

Understand the SAP deployment approach, SAP workflows and processes, and the impact of SAP design decisions

Ensure that impacts are effectively communicated to functional project leadership, other technical workstreams, and the iHerb PMO

Account for design decisions in testing, conversion, integration, and deployment planning

Take notes, document decisions, outcomes, and risks

Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions as well as workstream meetings and other associated project meetings and proactively follow up on outcomes

Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, and deliverables

Monitor and report on project progress, status, and performance utilizing standard project management tools leveraged by the iHerb PMO

Evangelize the value of effective project management by mentoring and guiding team members on use of the iHerb PMO processes and best practices

Further the maturity of the iHerb PMO by identifying necessary process improvement and bringing to bear experience

Required

At least 7-10 years' relevant experience, which is ideally a combination of project management experience and technical knowledge of SAP systems and functionality

Demonstrated, hands-on experience performing formal project management for complex, multi-threaded projects or programs that are technical in nature: establishing scope, creating project assets, developing detailed project and resource plans, independently leading from initiation through closing, managing issues and risk, establishing and maintaining communication cadence, and managing project budgets

Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly analyze information, identify gaps, and make informed recommendations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Must be able to both listen and execute, but also professionally and productively challenge assumptions and highlight risks

Proven indirect leadership skills in a high-performing, fast-paced environment: willingness to both lead and contribute

Preferred

Experience as a developer or in another technical capacity is strongly preferred, but not required

The ideal candidate has experience with SAP and other enterprise SaaS systems

CAPM, PMP, or other relevant project management certification preferred but not required

Experience with project management for enterprise systems implementations, specifically SAP, strongly preferred

Knowledge of SAP implementation methodology also strongly preferred

Change management experience with a strong understanding of the role of change management in project management preferred but not required

Prosci experience is a plus
