Manager, Venue Power & HVAC, FIFA World Cup 2026 - Seattle

FIFA World Cup 2026™ is a unique event uniting the world through sports, and they are seeking a Venue Power & HVAC Manager to be a key member of their Technical Infrastructure & Services team. This role involves planning and implementing power solutions at FIFA World Cup 2026 venues, ensuring seamless delivery and quality of power setups.

Responsibilities

Working with the Cluster Power Managers and Lead Power Manager
Coordinating on-site activities of the appointed Power Service Provider
Working with key non broadcast FIFA functional areas to refine their Venue and Overlay power requirements at Stadiums and other sites
Working with the stadium power teams to ensure the seamless delivery of the Venue and Overlay Power scope
Monitoring and coordinating the progress and quality of the Venue and Overlay Power setup ensuring it is in line with the requirements
Managing the contract with the power provider, which includes overseeing the scope of work, design specifications, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), Hand-Over Procedures, and other operational aspects
Coordinating the conducting of the necessary stress tests on the Venue and Overlay Power setup across all FIFA official sites
This position requires that the applicants are based near the Venues that will host the FWC2026
This role is focused on on-site activities, coordinating in-person the implementation of temporary power installations, installation of Diesel generators, and BESS
The Venue Power Manager will work during the installation phase, match-days, non-match days and removal phase
The venue power manager will need to follow the match schedule hours

Required

Bachelor's degree or similar
Planning and delivering Power solutions at events, preferably sport events
Previous experience in event productions
Fluent in English
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools

Preferred

Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
