Responsibilities

Experience working within an IMS Database environment. Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z/OS Operating System, Storage, Databases, CICS, and Disaster Recovery concepts

Experience in IMS V15.5 or Later upgrade with SMP/E

Experience in ISV products include, but are not limited to CA database tools, IBM database tools, Sysview, Omegamon, and Mainview

Experience in IMS Database Objects, Logical Unit definitions, and IMS Commands

Expert in IMS configuration like SYSGEN, PSBGEN, Subsystem configuration

Will serve as primary technical contact for the mainframe Database for one or more clients during transition
