JOINT INTERFACE CONTROL ANALYST

Responsibilities
Serve as the senior interface control officer in support of Multi-Tactical Data Link Network (MTN) operations and is the MTN coordinator for the Joint Domain Network (JDN) within the USCENTCOM area of responsibility
Develops theater policy and multinational agreements for the development of TDL architectures
Represents HQ CENTCOM with a variety of operational and functional area organizations
Advises CDRUSCENTCOM on capabilities and limitations of the IAMD system

The position requires availability for rotating one hour recall 24/7 to respond to crisis action planning or work extensive hours
Incumbent may be required to perform periodic travel (CONUS and OCONUS) in commercial and military aircraft and may be required to travel to the USCENTCOM AOR
Position is designated special-sensitive and requires a TOP SECRET (TS) clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program
This is a Mission Essential (ME) position performing a Mission Critical Function (MCF)
This position is emergency essential (E-E)
Incumbent may be required to work rotating shifts, weekends and federal holidays throughout the year
Position requires accompanying the HQ USCENTCOM staff and performing assigned duties in both exercise and actual wartime situations
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-13 or equivalent in other pay systems
Knowledge of collaboration and telecommunications tools, Tactical Data Links (e.g., Link-16, Link-11), cross domain and information sharing solutions (e.g., Radiant Mercury (RM), Trusted Network Environment (TNE), CENTRIXS), COMSEC regulations, CJCS Instructions, Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) policies, National Security Agency (NSA) Policies, and Command regulations
Knowledge of principles, policies and practices of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) system acquisition and program management
Knowledge of roles and relationships within the FMS community
Skill in conceptual thinking and problem solving which demonstrate the ability to gather, assemble and analyze facts, draw conclusions, conduct analysis, devise recommended solutions, and package the process into briefings, papers, and reports suitable for senior leadership use and decision making
Ability to prepare and communicate effective oral presentations and written correspondence, persuasively negotiate complex issues, and simultaneously maintain good working relationships with HQ USCENTCOM Staff, other U.S. Government agencies, military services personnel, and partner nation country personnel
