Global Strategic Growth Leader - Aerospace & Defense
nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. The Growth Leader for Aerospace & Defense is a highly visible and influential position that involves driving strategy and critical metrics for the Aerospace & Defense vertical market.
Responsibilities
Own the strategy and execution for the global Aerospace & Defense vertical market within Schroff’s matrix organization
Drive our value proposition so it fully resonates with external influencers and decision-makers and establishes us as the preferred solution partner at a global scale
Identify and advocate for new products, solutions, services, partnerships, and business development opportunities
Coordinate with collaborators and other growth leaders as well as General and Functional Managers globally to define sales targets (AOP) and actively influence P&L achievements
Excite, influence, and train the organization, primarily Commercial Sales teams on how to best sell our value in the Aerospace & Defense space
Represent the company as our voice of expertise for the target industries and C-Level Leadership
Define, measure and account critical metrics and report out to leadership teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in Engineering, Marketing, or Business
5+ years of customer-facing experience, in either Sales/New Business Development and or Marketing roles
Previous experience in Aerospace & Defense - applications and solutions, knowledge of trends, buying process, legal and compliance rules, and key competitors
Able to navigate matrix organizations and influence decision-makers
Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading cross-functional and cross-cultural direct and indirect teams
Ability to understand analytical tools and interpret financial models
Creativity and writing skills – value proposition and positioning
Ability to travel up to 40%
