Site Leadership Team Specialist, Recruitment & Training
Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Site Leadership Team Specialist, Recruitment & Training to join our team in North Wilkesboro, NC. In this role, you will support the North American Disaster Relief and Rebuild departments by serving in the daily functions of recruitment and ongoing support and training of the North American Disaster Relief Site Leadership Team.

Responsibilities
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
Encourage qualified volunteers to apply for SLT positions and walk them through the recruitment process, including processing applications, conducting interviews, and following up on reference checks
Walk candidates through the onboarding process to include corresponding with candidates and maintaining the recruitment tracker
Monitor and maintain the mentorship of new SLT members, by tracking and communicating competencies achieved and needed areas of growth, post-deployment
Assist with requests, review, and communication of feedback from Program Management staff to SLT post-deployment, focusing on potential SLT and peak deployment seasons
Train volunteers and plan, assign, and direct volunteer work; address complaints and resolve problems for volunteers. Assist with the SLT Support program as needed
Participate in training, including the training teams, both onsite and in the field
Assist the Site Leadership Team Scheduling Specialist as needed during times of disaster response. This would include the coordination of people, as well as the administrative and logistical support
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree (B.A.) and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education
General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Exhibit public speaking and presentation skills
Able to effectively communicate with individuals from a wide range of demographics
Able to handle multiple assignments and complete complex jobs under deadline pressure
Able to work well independently or as part of a team
Proficient communicating and interviewing over the phone
Fluency in English
Preferred
Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
