Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers

Manage SAN storage systems and enterprise backup solutions

Oversee patching and updates for SQL Server and other critical systems

Manage SQL clusters and databases

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

Design and maintain DR and BCP strategies

Conduct regular testing and validation of recovery procedures

Security & Compliance

Perform system hardening and vulnerability remediation

Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards

Monitoring & Support

Provide Level 2 & 3 support for infrastructure and business applications

Participates in on-call rotation of after-hours emergency support and maintenance of a 365x24x7 production environment

Microsoft Ecosystem

Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint

Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity/access controls

Network & Capacity Planning

Assist in network design and performance optimization

Conduct capacity planning and resource forecasting

Cloud Infrastructure

Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions

Support hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives

Optimize cloud resource usage and cost management

Required

Minimum of 7-10 years in previous systems engineering or infrastructure roles

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, and networking

Ability to design secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure

Experience in administering and maintaining physical and virtual servers

Management of SAN storage systems and enterprise backup solutions

Overseeing patching and updates for SQL Server and other critical systems

Management of SQL clusters and databases

Designing and maintaining disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) strategies
