Responsibilities

Support the CFO in managing the company’s overall financial operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all accounting and reporting activities

Partner closely with the VP of Finance for key financial functions such as monthly closings, reconciliations, WIP schedules, and financial analysis

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to provide meaningful insights for leadership and operations teams

Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures to strengthen accuracy and compliance

Oversee the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and recording of transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policy

Collaborate with project management, estimating, and operations teams to monitor project performance, job costing, and profitability trends

Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and better integration between accounting and operations systems

Demonstrate leadership through influence—supporting, guiding, and mentoring team members across Finance and Operations to promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement

Assist in developing financial tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to enhance visibility into business performance for leadership
