Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is a leading media organization, and they are seeking a Sales Account Executive to generate broadcast and digital advertising revenue. The role involves developing relationships with local clients, implementing strategies to grow revenue, and maintaining accounts while also prospecting for new business.

Responsibilities

Implements strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals

Establishes credible relationships with local business community

Prospect, qualify, close, and grow NEW business

Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients

Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts

Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients

Continue to learn and implement new strategies and products

Explains to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible. Be an advocate for our products and programs

Provides clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media

Develops advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station media. Work with creative services in the production of client’s creative elements for both broadcast and digital advertising campaigns

Responsible for order entry, contracts, follow-up, and collections

Build and present proposals to prospective clients

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification

Sales experienceDigital marketing knowledgeMS Office proficiencyBachelor’s degreeValid driver’s license

Required

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Proficiency in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and basic office equipment required

Preferred

Sales experience preferred, but willing to train the right person

Knowledge of digital marketing basics (Google/Facebook, etc.) preferred
