Responsibilities

Partner to negotiate contracts and deals for a fast paced, motivated business group within Capital One

Provide problem-solving and innovative ideas to support internal customers. Identify value-generating opportunities (e.g. savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth)

Serve as a primary point of contact for third parties and manage an effective governance between Capital One and assigned third parties

Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders that creates alignment on business strategy and fosters ability to move quickly on desired business outcomes in a well managed way

Monitor and ensure successful delivery against third party contractual obligations. Partner with internal risk groups to ensure third party relationships are compliant with all relevant policies and procedures

Accountable for policy requirements for all managed third-party relationships. Plan and lead periodic reviews and assessments of supplier relationships

Maintain awareness of external marketplace as it relates to your suppliers and perform sourcing activities where appropriate

Serving as a people manager, coach and mentor to develop less seasoned and experienced Supplier Managers in their development
