Design electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic controls systems for industrial automation
Responsible for selecting hardware, producing BOM and oversight of panel fabrication
Network and Fieldbus design
Responsible for the overall quality-of-design and design documentation as it relates to automation controls
Apply industry-accepted engineering practices and methodology toward the successful completion of design deliverables
Experience with any of the following would be a plus: Rockwell, Omron, Mitsubishi, and Siemens
Must have the ability to meet deadlines and take a project from start to finish
Develop project-specific scope-of-design and design deliverables in alignment with the Project Scope and the needs of the customer
Capable of designing system architecture for machine control systems, including electrical schematics and network diagrams
Work within an engineering team to design custom automated equipment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering technology or electrical engineering preferred
8 to 10 years of practical, applied engineering design experience relating to industrial equipment
Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Solid understanding of industrial automation with knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
Experience using design software (Autodesk products or equivalent)
Proficient with MS Office Products
Preferred
Experience with any of the following would be a plus: Rockwell, Omron, Mitsubishi, and Siemens
