Responsibilities
Prepare sketches and the 2D portions of our detailed design drawings
Assist the lead civil designer and civil engineer with preparing and issuing the detailed design drawing. This includes preparing plans, details, general notes, profiles, cross sections, legends, key plans, and schedules
Assist the lead designer with aspects of 3D modeling in Civil 3D
Checking and back checking drawings
Help resolve design clashes between disciplines
Help coordinate document reviews with other disciplines
Assist with uploading our documents into our document control system
Help fulfill requests made by other disciplines
Qualification
Required
Have 1 or more of the following drafting and design credentials, or similar: Associates Degree, or higher, in a Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD / CAD) related degree
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in AutoCAD
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in Civil 3D
1 to 3 years of work experience in preparing civil site development drawings
Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD
Preferred
Oil and gas experience preferred
