Regional Product Manager

Responsibilities
Continue to develop and drive the new equipment and aftermarket parts and service business with responsibility to promote growth in the region
The role will focus on strategically driven business growth and will require product expertise, service sourcing/development, and parts sourcing
The role includes technical and selling leadership including an ongoing analysis of the Andritz market position in each of these areas
Responsible for the profitability and growth of the machine rebuild and aftermarket parts for the Forming section of paper machines in North America to include but not limited to:
Work with the support staff to ensure efficient execution of projects and the development of customer base
Provide direction to the sales force (equipment and services), develop proposals, product costing, and pricing with the Global Product Manager & Regional Group Manager. Maintain responsibility for resulting gross margin
Manage decisions with production & procurement (supply chain), the impact on competitiveness, profitability, and the gross margin
Maintain annual budget with the assistance / feedback of the sales force and Global Product Manager/Site Manager/Regional Manager
Strategic planning with action items involving the regional and global product team to include the establishment of long- and short-term sales objectives. Identify annual training needs for the salesmen
Develop marketing and promotion strategies and drive research & development, and the implementation of new products with the regional and global product team
Qualification
Required
B.S. Degree in Engineering or minimum of 5 years‘ experience
Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Advanced in MS Word Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Travel to paper mills / customer sites required; participate in selling activities and support technicians with field work as required
Ability to help identify customer needs, build new customer base, and maintain relationships for future business
High capacity of strategic, logical, and methodical thinking, and independent decision-making skills for paper making and mechanical problem solving
Must be organized, able to manage time, prioritize, pay close attention to detail, maintain a high degree of accuracy, and work as a team member or independently while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Comply with all Company policies, procedures, regard confidentiality and safety requirements
Represent Company interests and be sensitive to customer satisfaction (understand sense of urgency and importance of follow-up)
Legal status to work in the US is required
