Responsibilities

Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to develop mission capabilities on space qualified hardware for deployment to a space platform

Manage the system engineering content and work products, which includes developing the requirements baseline, design and integration, to ultimately perform qualification testing and delivery of the product

Utilize digital engineering and model-based systems engineering principles to perform operational concept development, feasibility studies, design, development, performance modeling, and hardware/software evaluation

Prepare and deliver technical presentations internally and for customer meetings

Required

Active DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible to acquire SCI and additional SAP/SAR clearance

Prior experience leading a medium size team of System Engineers

Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)

Familiarity with RF applications and data links

Familiarity performing integration on space qualified hardware

Working experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management

Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience interfacing with upper management; customer facing

Preferred

Working experience with Radar applications

Experience with integration and thermal vac/vibration/shock testing on space qualified hardware

Bid and proposal experience on major life cycle programs

M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 11 years of experience or Ph.D. with 9 years of experience

Working experience with Model based systems engineering principles with tools such as Magic Draw

Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering
