Account Manager - TUSA
SPS Companies, Inc. is a leading supplier of galvanized steel pipe and tubing, operating through its division Tubular USA. The Account Manager will leverage interpersonal skills and sales experience to develop new prospects and maintain customer relationships, ensuring sustained business growth.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive solutions with customers including
Enter, track, and trouble-shoot orders in a timely manner
Ensure that customer expectations regarding quality, delivery, accuracy, and follow-up on orders are met
Collaborate with the sales management team to develop programs, pricing arrangements, and supply agreements that focus on services rather than pricing
Target and research new business opportunities
Cold call leads from Tubular USA and conduct research to cultivate relationships and generate new business
Effectively use the company’s technology platforms to:
Communicate specific information regarding a customer visit or phone call
Document customer problems and initiate internal action plans to correct issues
Track daily sales data and quotes
Qualification
Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Highly proactive and takes great initiative; proven self-starter; goes the extra mile
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan/schedule/set appointments, etc
Strong customer orientation with proven relationship building skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain composure and be able to search for a solution to a problem without blaming others
High learning agility
Preferred
Proven experience in a role responsible for managing the needs of customers
Knowledge of general principles of business related to revenue generation, cost impacts and bottom-line results
