Temporary Payroll Assistant
TransPerfect is the world's largest provider of language services and technology solutions for global business. The Payroll Temporary Assistant will assist with the processing and coordination of weekly and biweekly payroll for over 3,000 employees in the US and Canada, handling various payroll-related tasks and ensuring accuracy in payroll processing.
Responsibilities
Assist with processing Biweekly & Weekly payrolls for the US and Canada
Validate new hire information & employee changes for accuracy, including correct taxation
Review time card entries for payroll processing
Enter one-time payments and adjustments in the payroll system
Run/save final versions of payroll reports after payrolls are completed
Respond to employee payroll questions and concerns
Create manual check calculations when required
Assist with audits and reviews for year-end
Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
Qualification
Required
Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
1 – 3 years of payroll experience in a company with over 500 employees
Knowledgeable in Excel
Able to accurately multitask and pay attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
