Responsibilities
Defines software architecture for datacenter software and customer workloads
Leads identification of workload optimization opportunities appropriate for compilers, tools, software libraries, middleware and frameworks
Defines customer workload optimizations leveraging our platform software, industry software, and compilers and tools
Engages with major customers to understand use cases, application architecture, and critical performance metrics
Interacts with technologists and product/product managers across Intel to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development
Develops and mentors other technical leaders
Grows the community
Acts as a change agent
Role models Intel values
Aligns organizational goals with technical vision
Formulates technical strategy to deliver leadership solutions
Demonstrates a track record of relentless execution in bringing products and technologies to market
Qualification
Required
BS in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent
10 years experience developing or architecting workloads for cloud and data center
5 years experience optimizing workloads for public cloud
5 years experience directly working with customers
Demonstrated knowledge of compiler technologies, performance libraries, and workload profiling
Preferred
PhD in Computer Engineering
Experience with Cloud, Enterprise, and HPC workloads
Experience building AI solutions and using AI for development
Experience building end-to-end solutions
