CenExel is a leading organization specializing in Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials. The Community Health Outreach Coordinator will assist in building relationships between the company and the local community, contributing to future revenue streams and internal outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

Work to identify and establish community relationships, especially with local doctor’s offices and dental practices

Identify and source partnership opportunities in the community to help recruit potential study participants

Track and report on local community and healthcare contacts

Provide updates internally regarding upcoming business and enrollment needs

Ensure community outreach and engagement activities align with our brand and organizational culture

Work closely with site recruiting department to strategize best approach

Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Experience with Vulnerable Populations & Systems of Care: Demonstrated experience working within or alongside housing programs, mental health clinics, shelters, and other community-based care settings. Must be comfortable navigating these environments and understand the systems that serve individuals with complex needs, including those with co-occurring disorders

Direct Service & Communication Skills: Proven ability to engage directly with clients facing mental health and substance use challenges in a compassionate, professional manner. Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport with community agencies, service providers, and individuals in crisis. Foundational knowledge of social work principles and case management practices required

Location & Community Experience: The ideal candidate must be located in or near the Inland Empire region (Riverside County/San Bernardino County) due to the geographic scope of service areas

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, business, or related field

Sufficient experience in building relationships/community engagement

Self-motivated and ambitious

Skilled in creative abilities for recruiting tactics

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to produce creative design
