HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT/OA)
USAJOBS is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide support to the Civilian Personnel Flight. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in recruitment and placement activities.

Responsibilities
Performs the full range of tasks in filling positions
Performs functions involved with the DOD Priority Placement Program (PPP) and other special hiring programs
Initiates and Monitors the suitability and security automated systems
Performs a variety of recruitment and placement support duties
Uses multiple office automation software with varied functions to produce a wide range of documents, formats, etc
Qualification
Required
Must complete initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s)
U.S. Citizenship is required
Males must be registered for Selective Service
The incumbent must have the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
This position has a limited area of consideration limited to Department of Defense Employees
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-04, or equivalent in other pay systems
Successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-05, or equivalent in other pay systems
Successfully completed one year of graduate level education in a field directly related such as, Human Resources
A combination of experience as described in the job opportunity announcement and education
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06, or equivalent in other pay systems
Successfully completed graduate level education in a field directly related which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work
You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications
Failure to provide all of the required information as stated in this vacancy announcement may result in an ineligible rating or may affect the overall rating
