As a Metals Trader, you will manage strategic initiatives in the secondary metals market, ensure efficient trading activities, and build strong customer relationships to drive sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

Drive and manage strategic initiatives to expand the company's presence in the secondary metals market in the United States, ensuring sustainable business growth

Ensure smooth and efficient buying and selling activities of scrap metals and recycled metals on METYCLE

Build and nurture strong relationships with our customers and continuously expand our product portfolio of secondary metals

Acquire, develop, and activate prospect leads jointly with our business development team

Negotiate and prepare commercial offers for our products (including pricing, payment terms, delivery terms) together with our trading team - both on the buying and on the selling side

Manage trades end-to-end in close collaboration with our operations team (orders, contracts, logistics, payments, etc.)

Monitor regional and global market trends and industry dynamics to identify new opportunities and refine business strategies for staying ahead in the metals market

Work closely with the technology development team to enhance the customer experience and optimize marketplace functionality, driving higher engagement and satisfaction

Represent METYCLE at important industry events, conferences, trade fairs and grow our brand through networking with relevant industry players
