Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and work to sell prospective members Imperial products and services using approved scripts
Assist with broker inquiries and relate to ready to Sell status, Book of business requests, commissions inquires
Go off-script when necessary, to build a relationship with potential members or answer any questions they have not addressed in the script
Advise prospective and current members by answering questions and addressing concerns about Imperial products and services
Complete all enrollment forms and record logs to create accurate, detailed files for each member
Documents all communications involving prospective members, beneficiary and provider contacts
Answer incoming calls from our customers to include but not limited to; members, providers, health plans, insurance brokers, and hospitals in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer system
Advises management on issues and opportunities regarding workflows
Coordinates complete resolution of service issues by interfacing with other departments including Eligibility, Benefits, Claims and any other departments internally
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent
Call center: 2 years (Required)
Driver's License (Required)
Preferred
Previous call center experience preferrable in the healthcare (Medicare/Medicaid) setting
Bilingual (Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese) requested but not required
California Life and Health License not required/ but is preferred
Health information management: 1 year (Preferred)
