Mid, Senior LevelThe University of Utah is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the lab of Dr. Maggie French. This role involves collecting and analyzing data related to motor function and cognition in stroke patients, and collaborating with diverse teams to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

Responsibilities
Collecting functional data about motor function, mood, and cognition from individuals with stroke using a variety of remote monitoring methods
Understand complex relationships between these functional domains
Integrate remotely collected data with clinical datasets to gain insight on the relationship of rehabilitation delivery and functional outcomes
Recruiting and enrolling participants
Managing remote data collection
Analyzing remotely collected and clinical data
Disseminating findings through publications and presentations
Contribute to the development of research questions and analytical approaches for these data
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, rehabilitation providers, and informaticians
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Rehabilitation Science, or a related field
Demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job
Preferred
Experience with wearable sensors and/or remote monitoring approaches
Strong programming skills (e.g., R, Python, or similar)
Strong writing skills
