Responsibilities
Conduct client meetings through phone and video conferences
Draft various marital agreements, such as property settlement agreements, prenups, postnups, and co-parenting plans
Manage cases from initiation to trial & final resolution with support staff assistance
Set case strategy
Attend hearings and argue motions
Simultaneously handle cases in multiple Northern Virginia courts, including Fairfax, Loudoun, Arlington, Alexandria, and Prince William
Multitask effectively and meet multiple deadlines
Monitor and track case progress
Adhere to the firm's file organization and other policies
Qualification
Required
Experience handling a wide range of family law matters such as divorce, custody, spousal support, visitation, child support, and enforcement
Experience arguing motions
Strong trial advocacy, research, and drafting skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 3 years of Virginia family law experience is required
Minimum of 3 years of family law litigation experience
Proficient in using computers and web-based applications
Excellent negotiation skills
