Senior Manager - Quality Programs

The Senior Manager – Quality Program will lead the Quality Management System and drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, and manufacturing processes while reducing costs through quality enhancements.

Responsibilities

Lead the Quality Management System and ISO9001:2015 certification process including internal and external audits
Lead Corrective and Preventative Actions
Lead and train the manufacturing team on a structured approach to problem solving utilizing 8D and Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to eliminate waste appropriately
Lead cross functional teams in complex problem solving and large continuous improvement projects or events
Support manufacturing with containment, root cause and resolution to part quality issues
Establish control plans and standardization to prevent process backsliding for consolidation of gains
Analyze and improve processes to reduce common cause variability and eliminate special cause
Develop and institutionalize best practice quality tools/processes within manufacturing
Provide strategic guidance to manufacturing quality

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Engineering or related field
8+ years in related work experience

Preferred

ISO 9001:2015 Certified Auditor
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Excellent project management and prioritization skills. Solid business acumen
Results-oriented, strong analytical skills, and demonstrated process improvement success in managing large teams in a continuous improvement culture
Ability to interact with all levels of the business (senior leaders to working teams); exceptionally good listening skills; able to present complex or new ideas with clarity and simplicity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills that build productive relationships and influences others, both within the business and across organizations
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
