Responsibilities

Provide overall project oversight for electric distribution infrastructure projects
Lead coordination and performance monitoring across project teams
Manage project plans, program budgets, schedule, resource planning, and portfolio risk mitigation strategies
Collaborate with client stakeholders to align project priorities and resolve escalated issues
Identify, monitor, and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as necessary
Assigns tasks, sets priorities, and monitors progress to ensure project milestones are met
Track and report on key metrics such as cost, schedule performance, and project readiness
Develops and maintains accurate documentation, including program procedural documents and project specific documentation such as contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders
Identify process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and mitigate wildfire risk
Identifies opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings
Ensure compliance with utility standards, regulatory mandates, and public safety requirements

Required

2-3 years of project management experience in the Electric distribution utility sector required
Direct experience managing wildfire mitigation projects required (e.g., system hardening, undergrounding, vegetation management)
Advanced knowledge of utility construction methods, permitting processes, and regulatory environments
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency using Primavera P6, Power BI, MS Project, SAP, and portfolio reporting tools
Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship
Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
PMP certification or equivalent training preferred
