Start in 2026 SpringAssociated Wholesale Grocers is the nation’s largest cooperative food wholesaler to independently owned supermarkets. They are seeking a Category Sales Intern to work with the Category Sales team, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in category management and strategic planning.

Responsibilities
Work with the Category Sales team to learn about category management
Gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, execution, analysis and making recommendations around key business driving activities
Work closely with the immediate team and other key internal and external business partners to achieve project goals
Impact future business activities
Have visibility for key processes and tools used to drive efficient, timely and profitable decisions that benefit our members
Qualification
Required
Business Analysis, or similar major candidates
Junior or senior level students preferred. Recent grads acceptable
Solid communication skills
Strong organization skills
Process Improvement skills
Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, ability to follow up
Initiative, enthusiasm to learn and ability to follow direction
Interest in SCM, logistics and grocery field
Ability to commit to a full-time, 40 hour per week, 10-week internship, with the possibility to work overtime as needed. Including regular and reliable attendance throughout the program
