They are seeking an entry-level analyst to work in a fast-paced industrial hygiene laboratory, responsible for sample preparation and analysis, as well as general laboratory housekeeping.

Responsibilities
The analyst is responsible for the set-up of client samples for analysis, the preparation of samples using organic solvents or concentrated acids, and general laboratory housekeeping
Once this goal is accomplished, the analyst will learn how to interpret X-ray diffraction diffractogram data and how to report sample results
Organization and time management are very important qualities for this role
Weekend and evening overtime may be required to meet client demands, due to a turnaround time deadline
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree with a science focus is required
Must be comfortable working with chemicals
Familiarity/experience with basic laboratory equipment (pipettes, balances, funnel apparatuses, and fume hoods) is necessary
Attention to detail and patience with repetitive work is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is expected
