Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps engineers
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Manage performance reviews, career development, and training initiatives
Define and execute the DevOps strategy aligned with organizational goals
Drive adoption of modern DevOps practices, tools, and automation frameworks
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure efficiency, reliability, and delivery speed
Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud and on-prem infrastructure
Ensure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices are standardized and scalable
Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines for multiple applications
Ensure smooth, reliable, and secure software releases
Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize build/test/deploy workflows
Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
Drive initiatives to improve system uptime, resilience, and disaster recovery
Partner with product, engineering, and IT teams to align DevOps initiatives
Act as a bridge between development and operations to reduce silos
Communicate technical strategies and progress to senior leadership
Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry trends
Introduce best practices to enhance scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
Champion innovation and experimentation within the team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
7+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong background in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) and scripting (Python, Bash)
Experience supporting ecommerce platforms and high-traffic production environments
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, with 2–3 years in leadership roles
Proven success managing large-scale eCommerce platforms and cloud-native environments
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, monitoring tools, and security protocols
Track record of mentoring teams, leading incident response, and driving DevOps transformation
