HVAC Sales Account Manager

EMCOR Services Combustioneer is a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services. The HVAC Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing sales and relationships with commercial and government clients, managing service sales processes, and maximizing sales growth within existing accounts.

Responsibilities

Establishing relationships with prospective clients
Seeking out and researching prospective projects through various methods (e.g., phone calls, visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, leads, leveraging existing relationships). Contacting prospective client point of contact such as the Chief Engineer, Account Managers and Property Managers to introduce yourself and develop future relationships
Working with the Business Development Manager, Project Managers and Engineering Supervisors in constantly reviewing and improving commercial account programs to meet targeted objectives
Managing through analysis and solutions-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume and profitability of account clients in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia regions
Preparing and delivering client presentations and business proposals
Developing, writing and reviewing client proposal documents including financial and technical sections, using EMCOR Service/Combustioneer Systems standard template and pricing models
Developing sales at defined margin levels to attain market share

Required

Highschool or GED required
4+ years' experience in HVAC commercial service and sales
Customer presentation skills and a demonstrated sales aptitude
Financial acumen
Experience with estimating and budgeting
Independent decision making is required
Must be comfortable using excel spreadsheets
Must be able to travel within 25 miles of the site

Preferred

Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment
Experience in developing technical and cost proposals
