Responsibilities
Be the CEO’s thought partner on product direction, technical vision, and long-term strategy. You’ll shape the company as much as the codebase
Translate our product vision into a roadmap you actually believe in and can deliver on
Build the core of Prom.dev: architect systems, ship features, write production-quality code regularly
Engage deeply with our community of builders and prompt designers; what they care about should shape what we build
Recruit, hire, and lead our engineering team as we scale (you’ll help set the culture and the bar)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of software engineering experience
Excited about AI, LLM prompting, and early-stage product creation
Love to build in the open
Problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and early-stage environments where nothing is 'someone else's job'
Hungry for responsibility, ownership, and the chance to build a category-defining company people talk about
Preferred
Open-source or community-led project experience is a major plus
