Intern – Process Engineering (North Louisiana / East Texas)

Responsibilities

Support small capital and operations-driven projects in the North Louisiana and East Texas area, helping the team stay aligned with project scope, budget, and timelines
Assist with updating and maintaining Process Safety Information (PSI) for area facilities, including P&IDs, PFDs, and related documentation
Help coordinate with operations personnel, outside vendors, and contractors during various stages of project work
Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities tied to project development and implementation, such as design reviews, PHA discussions, MOC documentation, and team training sessions
Work alongside Staff Process Engineers to support project development that meets engineering standards, code compliance, and company safety requirements
Collaborate with plant operations personnel on troubleshooting and improving day-to-day plant operations
Demonstrate a willingness to learn, contribute to team discussions, and grow technical knowledge in process engineering
Take initiative in expanding engineering skills and sharing learnings with the team when appropriate
