Responsibilities

Work in a cloud-based platform built with Java and open-source technologies, including Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo, to support data-intensive analytics on a managed infrastructure

Be a key member of the Operations Team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing top-notch customer support, and leveraging your troubleshooting expertise to resolve technical challenges

Collaborate with a fast-paced, innovative team where your proactive mindset and attention to detail will make a real impact

Gain exposure to a variety of technologies and customer environments, continuously expanding your skills and experience

Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 support in an on-call capacity, helping maintain operational excellence

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in Linux environments, with opportunities to deepen your expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and scripting languages like Python and Bash

Required

17+ years as a Systems Engineer on projects of similar scope and complexity

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or an additional 5 years of SE experience in lieu of a degree)

DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher

Active TS/SCI with a current polygraph

Strong background in Linux system administration and troubleshooting

Experience or familiarity with cloud-based architectures, containers, and big data technologies

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and customer requirements
