Responsibilities

Review customer drawings and confirm part manufacturability

Program and edit CNC programs using MasterCam (most programs already exist)

Maintain and update all CNC program files with engineering or customer changes

Set up new jobs, including fixture and tooling documentation

Perform test runs, adjustments, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and efficiency

Create fixtures and select proper tooling for new jobs

Optimize speeds, feeds, tooling, and fixtures to improve productivity

Train operators on proper CNC machine operation

Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures

Identify tooling needs and support basic maintenance of equipment

Use precision measuring tools to hold close tolerances

Maintain a clean, safe work area

Perform other duties as assigned
