Responsibilities

Leading a team of product engineers to deliver innovative seating solutions from concept to market

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including industrial design and marketing, to develop new product concepts

Reviewing engineering designs and prints to ensure compliance with Steelcase standards and customer requirements

Driving project timelines and resolving cross-functional issues to keep development on track

Mentoring and developing team members through coaching, feedback, and performance management

Overseeing new product development activities, ensuring quality and manufacturability throughout the process

Building strong internal relationships to foster alignment and effective communication across teams

Required

At least 3 years of formal leadership experience

10+ years of engineering experience (preference for product engineering)

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent discipline)
